Hi, I’m Emlyn!
A childhood fascination with print magazines launched my interest in design. Throughout high-school, I took classes at the Laguna College of Art and Design and quickly developed a love for graphic design. I then followed my passion to Northeastern University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Communication Studies and Graphic and Information Design and a minor in Global Fashion Studies. I honed my skills outside of class by participating in student organizations such as Scout, where I worked on client projects with a team of other designers as a Design Lead.
I have experience working on both in-house creative teams and fast-paced agencies from my internships and co-ops at TJX Inc., EF Ultimate Break, and Vue Health. After graduation, I lived in Paris for the summer working as a Program Assistant to Northeastern's fashion classes and building my skills in leadership and team-building. After taking some more time to travel, I’m now back in California searching for a full-time job as a graphic designer and taking on freelance clients.
When I'm not working on design projects, I enjoy taking photos on film, hunting for unique flea-market finds, going tidepooling, and searching for the best lattes in SoCal (so far it’s Hidden House Coffee in San Juan).
