Homesense

July 2022- December 2022
As a part of my 6 month co-op program, I worked full time on the creative team of Homesense, the newest store to the TJX family and sister store of HomeGoods. Under the guidance of experienced designers, copywriters, and brand marketing specialists, I created a variety of digital marketing materials for brand such as emails, website banners, and social media graphics.





Seasonal Web Refreshes

I created two website refreshes for Homesense, each containing three web banner variations that would rotate and three promo boxes. One was for use during the Holiday season and the other was for use in the fall and post-holiday season. I combined the holiday color palette and graphics along with photos I selected from their professional photo library. I adapted each web banner into a mobile format as well so that it would preform well across all devices. 










Marketing Emails

One of my largest responsibilities was designing the marketing emails that went out to customers two to three times a week. After being briefed by the brand team about the subject of each email, I would attend an in-store photoshoot and assist with selecting and photographing merchandise. From there, I would design the emails in alignment with Homesense’s brand guidelines. Each email went through a multi-layer revision process before it was ready to be handed off to the developers. 

I also translated Homesense’s holiday branding into custom email design templates. These templates are still being used by the creative team each holiday season.




Holiday Hiring Social

I was tasked with creating an Instagram story graphic to announce that Homesense was looking for new store associates for the holidays. Because this story would be posted in Fall well before the holiday season, I used the holiday branding in a more subtle way.
